Race directors are always worried about what could go wrong during a race. There are many things that a race director can control, but every once in a while a freak storm crops up, or a cool morning turns into a heat wave half-way through the race. Know exactly where your participants are at all times. Check-ins don’t occur by expensive RFID rigs or by selective manual tallies. GPS and Mobile Programming technology provides an automated checkin up to every 10 seconds.

Critical race junctions, water stands, and turn-arounds are Geo-Fenced. Each critical touch point in a race can be tracked and reported to the RaceIOT Map. If racers miss a critical junction, it is immediately reported to the race director.

Race participants want to get the start of the race over with. Don’t give them pamphlets or complex directions. Give them what they need, let them strap on, pin and go. Don’t ask them to use their data plan for something they have already paid for, don’t ask them to log onto another app. All they want is a quick, efficient process that gets them going with the race and keeps them secure and driven.

RaceIOT tech uses its own data plan—not those of the race participants. If a participant doesn’t want to run with their phone, or they want to turn off their data and just cruise to their tunes, but still have their friends see how they are doing on the race, they can.

Immediate assistance is yours. When a participant pauses for an unexpected timeframe, all race managers and first responders are alerted. Bike and Ambo teams can coordinate and provide the necessary and immediate help required.

Nothing says game face like Race Day. We race so that we can show ourselves (and others) how well we can do. With RaceIOT tech we are able to assess the terrain, altitude and other metrics of a race course during a participant’s best effort (A.K.A. Race Day). With this data we provide participants with post-race pattern analytics to help them find their best strategy for future races.
